ROSACEA

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy is emerging as a gentle, regenerative treatment for rosacea—a chronic skin condition characterized by facial redness, visible blood vessels, inflammation, and sensitivity. PRP uses the healing components of your own blood to reduce inflammation, improve skin barrier function, and enhance skin texture and tone.

ROSACEA

How PRP Works for Rosacea

  • PRP is packed with your own blood’s growth factors and healing proteins. When injected into or applied on rosacea-prone skin, PRP can:

  • Reduce inflammation and redness

  • Strengthen and heal damaged blood vessels

  • Promote collagen production for skin resilience

  • Improve skin tone, hydration, and sensitivity

  • Calm the skin and reduce flare-up frequency

  • PRP doesn’t cure rosacea, but it helps manage symptoms and improve skin quality and barrier function over time.

The PRP Procedure for Rosacea

  1. There are two main approaches:

  2. 1. Microneedling with PRP (a.k.a. “Vampire Facial”)

  3. After drawing blood and preparing the PRP, a microneedling pen is used to create microchannels in the skin.

  4. PRP is then applied topically so it absorbs deeply.

  5. 2. PRP Injections (Mesotherapy-style)

  6. PRP is injected with a fine needle into targeted areas — such as cheeks, nose, or chin — to calm inflammation and rejuvenate from within.
